The Pallanuoto Trieste women's team has secured its spot in the semifinals of the Women’s Euro Cup! Competing at the “Laky Karoly Sportuszoda” in Budapest, the team sponsored by Samer & Co. Shipping defeated Keruleti Tve with an impressive 9-14 scoreline.
“An excellent performance on a challenging field; we played brilliantly,” commented head coach Paolo Zizza. “The result was closely contested in the first two quarters, but we successfully implemented all the work we prepared for this match, eventually pulling away on the scoreboard. I can only congratulate the players for advancing to the next round. Once again, this team proves its worth when it matters most. We have earned this semifinal.”
The alabardate will now face Spain’s Cn Tenerife Echeyde in the semifinals, with the first leg scheduled for January 25 at the “Bruno Bianchi” and the return leg set for February 15 in the Canary Islands.
